Coach Brent developed Southern Premier Soccer (SPS) Club due to a continued need for an Elite Level Soccer training environment in middle Tennessee and surrounding areas.
 
Every member of the Club is trained with Coach Brent’s developmental methodology, based upon his experience playing and coaching in Germany, along with his UEFA-Pro license qualifications, which is required to manage a team in the European Champions League and Europa League. This training translates to the highest quality individual development and team play available to your player.
  • Former USA National Team and Olympic Player 1986-1990
  • 1987 USA Soccer Athlete of the Year

  • In 2018, he was honored with the Walt Chysowych Distinguished Playing Career Award for his efforts on the 1989 U.S. Futsal team, which was the first U.S. Team (Men or Women) in U.S. Soccer history to capture a medal in FIFA competition.

  • First American-born soccer player to play in England

  • Played 10 years in the German Bundesliga

  • Retired from playing after a broken leg and moved into an assistant coach role in Bundesliga 3 at SV Elversberg and then three years later, promote to become the first American born head coach at this level in German Football history

  • Coach Brent has acquired the German Fusball Lehrer License (UEFA-Pro) which is the highest coaching certification world-wide and requires an invitation to pursue. He is the first American born coach to receive this license

  • 2012 Nashville Metros USL Team Coach and led the team to their first winning season in a decade
